about

October Meeting 1991 was a nine-day festival based at Amsterdam's BIMHUIS and involving 15 other Dtuch venues and more than 60 musicians from around the world. They played everything from elaborate compositions to jazz standards to free improvisations, in large orchestras and instantly assembled groups. This CD documents some of the results.
